The cargo area is what sets it apart, and it has a short but wide bed and an underfloor trunk. Honda’s pickup may take design cues from trucks, but its unibody construction means it can’t go off-road or pull very much. The trade-off is improved on-road comfort, though. While the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and Jeep Gladiator both have impressive off-road capabilities, they fall short of the Honda in terms of passenger volume and comfort on the highway. All-wheel drive is standard, and the rear suspension is independent. The V-6 engine is reliable, and the powertrain is smooth.

Next-Gen Honda Ridgeline 2024 Redesign
If sales figures indicate, the Ridgeline’s recent redesign has made it the truck everyone wants. This credit goes to the revamped exterior introduced for the prior model year. The Honda Ridgeline pickup has transformed into a stylish midsize truck with its new LED projector headlights and aggressively sculpted hood. The Sport and Black Editions grille is finished in glossy black for a bolder look. With their chrome accents, the RTL and RTL-E look more at home on the road. Dual tailpipes, 18-inch wheels, and LED foglights are standard equipment. Starting with the RTL grade, a moonroof is included.
Unlike most of its competitors, the Honda Ridgeline is only available in a single body style and one-bed length. As a result, its 210.2-inch size is always consistent. It is 70.8 inches tall and 78.6 inches across. 7.64 inches of ground clearance is not incredible for a pickup, and neither are the 20.4 degrees of approach angle, the 21.6 degrees of breakover angle, or the 20.6 degrees of departure angle.
When it comes to customizing your base Ridgeline Sport, you don’t have a lot of options. Crystal Black Pearl and Lunar Silver Metallic are the no-cost options. Meanwhile, the extra $395 will get you Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic II, or the brand new Sonic Gray Pearl. The RTL and RTL-E include no-cost additions to the standard color scheme, such as Modern Steel Metallic and Obsidian Blue Pearl. The premium paint package now includes Pacific Pewter Metallic for an additional $395. Crystal Black Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, and Sonic Gray Pearl are your only color options for the Black Edition, with the latter costing an extra $395.
The Honda Ridgeline 2024 retains the same cabin as the current model. The house has a distinctly automotive feel, with high-quality materials and construction. The place is uncomplicated and well-organized. The dashboard is constructed from both soft and hard plastics. The seats are soft and well-padded, arranged so that five average-sized adults can travel there without feeling cramped. There is no change to the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, which is carried over from the previous generation, but both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard equipment.
Unlike the other pickup trucks in this comparison, only one standard size is available for the bed. The leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are all standard features. Next-Gen Honda Ridgeline 2024 Release Date and Price
The base price of a 2024 Honda Ridgeline Sport remains unchanged from its 2023 counterpart, at $37,640. The RTL starts at $40,620, and the RTL-E begins at $43,570, and they’re both mid-range trims that bridge the gap between the base model and the top-tier. Before adding on any optional extras, the Black Edition will cost you $45,070. Note that the destination fee of $1,225 is not included in these prices. The all-new 2024 Honda Ridgeline, based on the company’s resurrected model from the previous decade, will go on sale in June of 2023.
