Next-Gen 2024 Honda S2000 Price, Redesign, Interior – The incredibly well-balanced chassis of the two-seat, four-wheel sportbike from Honda provides rear-drive roadster pleasure. A high-revving 237-hp four-cylinder drives a six-speed manual transmission. The S2000CR is a track-only vehicle with a firmer suspension and additional aerodynamic components, including a massive wing. It is plagued by noisy cabin noise and has a short trunk, but who cares when the vehicle can reach 8,000 rpm?
The 2024 Honda S2000, with rear-wheel drive, a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine, and a manual transmission, was praised by critics for its race car performance. However, critics claimed you must maintain a high rpm to achieve this performance. The sole transmission option is a manual transmission, and critics praised its smooth shifts. The S2000’s city/highway fuel economy of 18/25 mpg is typical for cheap sports cars. Reviewers praised the S2000’s excellent handling dynamics on twisty roads. However, they observed that a firm suspension makes long drives and uneven roads uncomfortable.

New 2024 Honda S2000 Redesign
The S2000 should not be confused with a Mazda Miata. This elegant vehicle has a sculpted body with enticingly flared arches, making it an attractive option for any day of the week. It appears to be well-established and ready to strike at any time. The S2000 CR goes even farther with a race-inspired retractable roof, seatback cowls, and a large rear wing. It is a testament to the design’s efficiency that it still looks modern after a decade; this design will always be lovely.
The standard model receives exterior features such as a remote entry system with automatic trunk release, an electrically driven soft top, which remains one of the quickest-dropping roofs in the industry, and dual-outlet exhaust pipes. The standard derivative has an aluminum bonnet and 17-inch light alloy wheels for weight reduction, while the CR has gray wheels.

Interior
The S2000’s philosophy precludes a luxurious cabin, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. All the essentials are present, but that’s about it. As with any high-end model from the manufacturer, the build quality is excellent. Nevertheless, as the years pass, a few rattles and squeaks will enter the cabin, an unfortunate side effect of the rigid suspension. The seats are optimally bolstered for spirited driving and are pretty durable. A red start button, air conditioning, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an aluminum shift knob, integrated rollover bars, and a 12-volt outlet are provided as amenities. The chair may be adjusted in four directions. A stock AM/FM/CD radio with eight speakers, some of which are embedded into the roll bars, is installed.
Legroom is 44.3 inches, and headroom is 34.6 inches regardless of whether you choose the convertible or the hardtop version of the S2000 CR. The Club Racer is different from the basic model because its bucket seats are made of yellow and black fabric, while the basic model’s seats are black leather.

Engine
When the S2000 was first introduced in the United States, it was equipped with a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine designated F20C. This engine could rev up to 9,000 rpm but lacked the low-end torque preferred by American drivers. A change was made to a 2.2-liter engine with a little lower rev limit (8,000 rpm) and higher torque, but if you were to inspect the engine compartment, you wouldn’t notice any difference. Even by 2024’s standards, it was never swift, but it still amazes, especially since it only has a four-cylinder engine.
There is 237 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of output. Low-speed acceleration might be sluggish because the powertrain must enter the VTEC zone at approximately 6,000 rpm to move fully, but this comes at the expense of fuel economy. Drive is transmitted to the rear wheels by a six-speed manual transmission with arguably the most significant shifting you’ll ever experience. In terms of stats, it will finish the 0-60 mph sprint in the middle of five seconds and get a top speed of 150 mph. The EPA estimates 18/25/21 mpg city/highway/combined, which is far from economical. Still, this is marginally better than the 17/24/20 mpg of the 350Z Roadster. With its 13.2-gallon gasoline tank full, the S2000 could travel approximately 275 miles before locating a gas station.
Next-Gen 2024 Honda S2000 Price and Release Date
The price of a used Honda S2000 is higher than its original MSRP, which was between $34,995 and $37,995. In July 2022, Honda says the release date of the 2024 S2000 is this summer.
