All-New Honda S2000 2024 Specs, Interior, Changes – With its rear-drive roadster fun and well-balanced chassis, Honda’s two-seat, four-wheeled sportbike is hard to beat. A six-speed stick shift controls a four-cylinder engine producing 237 horsepower. The S2000CR is the severe racer, with a firmer suspension and extra aero elements like a massive wing. Even though the car’s interior is noisy and its trunk is small, its 8,000 rpm top speed makes up for these flaws.
The 2024 Honda S2000, which has rear-wheel drive, a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine, and a manual gearbox, was praised for its racing car performance. According to the reviews, the rpm must be kept high to maintain that performance. There is just a manual gearbox, but critics have praised its silky gear changes. The S2000’s fuel economy of 18/25 mpg is par for the course for small, reasonably priced sports cars like it. Critics praised the S2000’s “excellent handling characteristics,”, especially on curvy roads. However, they also noted that lengthy travel and uneven roads are less enjoyable with a firm suspension.

All-New Honda S2000 2024 Redesign
One cannot mistake the S2000 for a Mazda Miata. This machine’s elegant design is appropriate for any day of the week, and it has an attractively shaped body with temptingly flared arches. It seems like it’s been placed somewhere and ready to pounce at any second. The S2000 CR goes even farther with its race-inspired retractable roof, seatback cowls, and large rear wing, making it the only Honda S2000 hardtop variant available. The fact that it manages to seem modern even ten years after its first release is a testament to how well-executed the design was.
The standard trim gets a remote entry system with an automatic trunk release, an electrically driven soft top that is still one of the quickest to lower, and dual-outlet exhaust pipes for its improved performance. The hood and 17-inch wheels are aluminum to save weight; the standard derivative has silver wheels, while the CR has gray wheels.

Interior
In keeping with the S2000’s spirit, a luxurious cabin is out of the question. Nothing fancy, but everything you need to get started is there. While the build quality is excellent, as with any high-end vehicle from the manufacturer, sure rattles and squeaks may eventually make their way into the cabin due to the too-stiff suspension. The seats are well-bolstered and durable, making them ideal for fast driving. Some features include built-in rollover bars, a 12-volt outlet, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, and a red start button. Each of the four intersections of the seat may be moved independently. Standard equipment is standard equipment for a stereo with AM/FM/CD and eight speakers. Some of the speakers are hidden in the roll bars.
Regarding interior dimensions, the ragtop and hardtop S2000 CR provide 44.3 inches of legroom and 34.6 inches of headroom. The Club Racer is further distinguished from the standard edition by deeper bolsters covered in yellow and black cloth.

Engine
The S2000’s original engine in the United States was a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder known internally as the F20C. The engine had a top speed of 9,000 rpm but lacked the low-end torque prized by American motorists. Afterward, a 2.2-liter engine with a slightly lower rev limit (8,000 rpm) and higher torque was installed; however, the difference is undetectable from outside the vehicle. Even by the standards of 2024, it was never swift, yet it still manages to surprise, especially given its relatively modest four-cylinder engine.
The power and torque ratings are 237 horsepower and 162 lb-ft, respectively. The engine may be sluggish at low speeds since it has to enter the VTEC zone at around 6,000 rpm to begin going entirely; however, this does reduce fuel efficiency. The rear wheels get power from a six-speed manual transmission that could be the smoothest-moving gearbox you’ve ever rowed. In raw data, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in around five seconds and get a top speed of 150 miles per hour. EPA mileage estimates of 18/25/21 are hardly thrifty. However, the 350Z Roadster only gets 17/24/20 mpg, which slightly improves. With its 13.2-gallon gas tank full, the S2000 can travel approximately 275 miles before needing to locate a gas station.
