All-New 2024 Honda Ridgeline Models, Colors, Pricing – The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is a top pick because it combines the best qualities of a midsize truck and a crossover SUV. Its distinctive characteristic is the cargo box, which has a trunk under the floor and a relatively short but broad bed. Honda’s pickup may take design cues from trucks, but its unibody structure means it can’t go off-road or pull too much. The trade-off is improved on-road comfort, though. While the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and Jeep Gladiator are capable of practically any terrain, they lack the Honda’s rear-seat comfort and ride quality, as do most other midsize pickups. All-wheel drive is standard, and the independent rear suspension and reliable V-6 engine make it easy to drive.
When you factor in the 2024 Ridgeline’s convenient standard features, like its various driving aids and quiet cabin, you have a desired and practical vehicle. However, the truck’s base V-6 engine and all-wheel drive remain the same across all four trim levels. The only update for the 2024 Ridgelines is a new paint color called Sonic Grey Pearl.

All-New 2024 Honda Ridgeline Redesign
Recent sales data suggests that the Ridgeline’s redesign has made it the truck that consumers can’t wait to get their hands on. This credit goes to the revamped appearance introduced for the prior model year. The new Honda Ridgeline pickup is a more assertive-looking midsize truck thanks to its oversized hood, beefier front fascia, and sleeker LED projector headlights. The Sport and Black Edition grille is coated in glossy black for a bolder look. Chrome adds a bit more road-friendly style to the RTL and RTL-E. Dual tailpipes, 18-inch wheels, and LED fog lights are standard equipment. After the RTL grade, a moonroof is installed.
Unlike its competitors, the Honda Ridgeline is only available in one body style and one-bed length. Its fixed 210.2-inch size guarantees its indestructibility. It is 70.8 inches in height and 78.6 inches in breadth. The pickup’s 7.64-inch ground clearance and typical 20.4-, 30.6-, and 29.6-degree approach, breakover, and departure angles aren’t particularly outstanding.
For the standard Ridgeline Sport, your customization options are pretty limited. The Crystal Black Pearl and Lunar Silver Metallic are the no-cost options. Interior
The Honda Ridgeline 2024 retains its predecessor’s cabin. Generally, the inside has a car-like atmosphere, and the materials feel sturdy and well-made. There is a combination of hard and soft plastics on the dashboard. The house, on the other hand, is simple and well-organized. The seats are spacious and well-cushioned, and there’s plenty of room for five people of average size inside. The 8-inch touchscreen display is carried over from the last model year, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard equipment.
All models come standard with niceties like leather upholstery and advanced conveniences like automatic air control and a rearview mirror that dims automatically. Unlike the other pickup trucks in this comparison, just one standard size is available for the bed. The outside dimensions of the bed measure 60 inches in width by 64 inches in length. The Ridgeline is the only vehicle in its class to offer additional storage space under the bed, which is 7.3 cubic feet.

Engine
The Ridgeline is an unconventional pickup that will catch you off guard. All-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic gearbox power the sole drivetrain option. The 3.5-liter V-6 generates 280 horsepower. When asked for rapid acceleration, the engine responds smoothly and with a responsive throttle. While the Ridgeline is fast, it cannot be towed very far. All Ridgelines have all-wheel drive and a 5,000-pound towing capacity, making them lighter than V-6 rivals like the Chevrolet Colorado and Ford Ranger by 2,000 to 2,500 pounds. Compared to the Colorado and Ranger, the Ridgeline’s payload capacity of around 1600 pounds is about average but lower.
At 18 mpg in the metropolis and 24 mpg on the roadway, the Ridgeline’s V-6 engine is the most efficient in its class. Our all-wheel-drive Ridgeline achieved 28 mpg on our 75-mph fuel-economy route, representing real-world highway driving and part of our rigorous testing procedure. The base price of a 2024 Honda Ridgeline Sport remains unchanged from the previous year at $37,640. The RTL and RTL-E are mid-range trims that cost $40,620 and $43,570, respectively. Prices start at $45,070 for the Black Edition, not including any optional equipment. The destination fee of $1,225 is not included in the MSRP listed above.
