Its defining characteristic is the cargo area, which has a trunk beneath the floor and a relatively short but wide bed. Honda’s pickup may take design cues from trucks, but its unibody construction means it can’t go off-road or pull very much. With a standard V-6 engine and all-wheel drive, it gets where it’s going, and its independent rear suspension allows for controlled movement. The trade-off is improved on-road comfort, though. While the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and Jeep Gladiator both have impressive off-road capabilities, they fall short of the Honda in terms of passenger volume and comfort on the highway.
When you factor in the 2024 Ridgeline’s convenient standard features like its numerous driver aids and quiet cabin, you have a truck that is both desirable and practical. The only noticeable change for the 2024 Ridgelines is the addition of a brand-new paint color called Sonic Grey Pearl. The truck still comes in four different trim levels, but they all have the same V-6 engine and all-wheel drive as standard.
2024 Honda Ridgeline Redesign
If sales figures indicate, the Ridgeline’s recent redesign has made it the truck everyone wants. Part of this credit goes to the revamped exterior introduced for the prior model year. The new and improved Honda Ridgeline pickup is a more assertive-looking midsize truck than ever, thanks to its oversized hood, beefier front fascia, and sleeker LED projector headlights. Due to its gloss black finish, the grille is larger and more pronounced in the Sport and Black Editions. Instead, the RTL and RTL-E benefit from chrome to make them appear more road-ready. Dual tailpipes, 18-inch wheels, and LED fog lights are standard equipment. From the RTL grade upwards, a moonroof is included as standard equipment.
Unlike its competitors, the Honda Ridgeline is only available in one body style and one-bed length. In other words, its 210.2-inch size is fixed. It is 70.8 inches tall and 78.6 inches wide. The Honda Ridgeline 2024 retains the same cabin as the 2023 model. The house, on the other hand, is uncomplicated and well-organized. The dashboard is constructed from a combination of soft-touch and hard-touch plastics. The interior has an air of quality and solidity typical of a car, and the design is pleasing to the eye. The seats are soft and well-padded, arranged so that five average-sized adults can travel there without feeling cramped. The 8-inch touchscreen from the last generation is still there, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard features.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are all features that can be found on all trim levels. You can tell that the engine was built for smooth driving, and the throttle responds well to your requests for rapid acceleration. While the Ridgeline is fast, it cannot be towed very far. All Ridgelines have all-wheel drive and a 5,000-pound towing capacity, making them lighter than V-6 competitors like the Chevrolet Colorado and Ford Ranger by 2,000 to 2,500 pounds. 2024 Honda Ridgeline Release Date and Price
The base price of a 2024 Honda Ridgeline Sport remains unchanged from its 2023 counterpart, at $37,640. The RTL and RTL-E are mid-range trims that cost $40,620 and $43,570, respectively. The base price of a Black Edition is $45,070. The $1,225 destination fee is not included in the MSRP listed above.
