2024 Honda Prologue Price, Colors, AWD – Through a collaborative development partnership with General Motors (GM), Honda’s second try at an EV, the tiny 2024 Prologue SUV, appears to be on schedule and competitive. Expect the 2024 Prologue to be similar in size to the gasoline-powered CR-V but with a somewhat lower roofline, like the Mazda CX-50. However, a design drawing shows that the Prologue is expected to feature huge wheels wrapped in meaty rubber, minimal overhangs up front and back, and simplistic lighting.
The Prologue is planned to be offered by Honda’s luxury brand, which is likely referred to as the ADX. Future GM EVs, like the Cadillac Lyriq and GMC Hummer EV, will employ variants of the same Ultium battery packs that will power the Prologue. If the Prologue has the same 100-kWh battery as the Lyriq, expect a driving range of roughly 300 miles per charge.

2024 Honda Prologue Redesign
Like most EVs, the Prologue’s wheels will be pushed far to the corners, as the same design constraints do not constrain them as gas-powered vehicles. If you look at the images supplied by Honda, it’s hard to tell if the new EV is a compact or two-row midsize crossover. It seems like the exterior design of the Prologue will adopt the current fad of rugged-looking accents without truly being one. The rendering includes prominent fender flares and thick blacked-out lower sills to give the car a more aggressive appearance and allow for greater ground clearance.
According to Honda, exterior aesthetic features include a “strong stance equipped with capable tires,” as well as an “overall long wheelbase, low overhang, and powerful stance” that embody “the worldwide Honda design orientation.” Although Honda has yet to share any photographs or information on the Prologue’s interior, it is expected to do so soon. Color options for the 2024 Honda Prologue bodywork are available in eight hues. To begin with, the LX is offered in only three color options, each exclusive to the LX model: Crystal Black, Lunar Silver, and Platinum White. For Platinum White Pearl, an extra $395 will be required. In addition to the options above, Honda offers Agean Blue, Radiant Red Metallic, and Sonic Gray Pearl as part of the Special Edition. Both of the latter two is an extra $395. Starting with the EX model and continuing with subsequent models, the Modern Steel Metallic coating is included at no additional cost.

Interior
The Prologue is expected to have a roomy cabin because it uses GM’s Ultrium platform. To maximize the amount of space dedicated to passengers and their belongings, Honda’s designers have pushed the wheels to the corners and eliminated the physical driveline from the interior. Unlike other automakers, Honda does not currently provide vehicles with many giant screens. That means that the infotainment system in the Prologue will either be completely new or much better than what Honda has now.
However, much of the Prologue’s driver comfort and entertainment technology will be re-branded GM content, with Honda adding some of its features. Wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto will be available, as well as a digital instrument cluster and over-the-air updates.

Engine
The Cadillac LYRIQ is the closest GM electric vehicle to the Honda Prologue. An all-wheel drive is a standard option for electric motors for the front and rear axles. The 340-horsepower single-motor LYRIQ and the 500-horsepower dual-motor all-wheel drive LYRIQ are available. The LYRIQ is powered by a 100.0-kWh battery pack with an estimated range of 312 miles.
The 2024 Honda Prologue electric car is expected to have a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge, with additional power coming from the vehicle’s battery packs. It is planned to be classified as a midsize SUV with a third row of seats, making it a highly competitive EV. According to Honda’s blueprints, it will include a 100-kWh Ultium battery and a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 325 lb-ft of torque. Driving an environmentally friendly car is now more accessible because of the proliferation of charging stations across North America.
2024 Honda Prologue Release Date and Price
In late 2023, we can expect to learn more about the Prologue’s successor, which is slated for release in 2024. Honda has not yet revealed the cost of the 2024 Prologue EV SUV. However, according to Car and Driver, the 2024 Prologue will cost $45,000 when it sells in 2024. Using Honda’s standard LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring trim levels; the automotive site approximated the beginning price of various Prologue trims: an LX costs $45,000, an EX $48,000, an EX-L $51,000, and a Touring costs $55,000, respectively.
