2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid Redesign, Changes, Colors – One of the most famous mid-size SUVs, the Honda Pilot Hybrid, is back as a 2024 model with more standard amenities than before. The LX and EX grades of the 2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid are no longer available, but two new trims, the Pilot Hybrid Sport and TrailSport have been added. This year’s models come standard with amenities like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Even though the Pilot Hybrid’s trim levels have been drastically shuffled, Honda has decided to maintain the model’s most beloved features. So the Pilot Hybrid’s towing capacity remains at 5,000 lbs., and its payload room remains at a very useable 16.5 cu ft.
According to some, the 2024 Pilot Hybrid looks like the Odyssey minivan, which is either a hit or miss for many people. Honda also announced the arrival of a brand-new Pilot Hybrid Special Edition model later this year. To compete with the Ford Explorer, Subaru Ascent, Toyota Highlander, Kia Telluride, and Hyundai Palisades in the 2024 Pilot Hybrid.

2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid Redesign
Aside from the fact that the Honda Pilot Hybrid’s looks are one of its most significant flaws, there isn’t much to say about this vehicle. As is characteristic of Honda, the Pilot Hybrid is a practical, well-equipped vehicle, but it lacks the cutting-edge style that the company is known for. The Pilot Hybrid’s drab exterior and wagon-like side profile make it look inferior to rivals like the stylish Kia Telluride. However, Honda offers a Special Edition Pilot Hybrid with black alloy wheels. However, we’re not persuaded that the Black Edition of the Honda Pilot Hybrid is adequate. Standard equipment on all models includes LED foglights and low-beam headlights. All models come standard with a power moonroof and power tailgate that can be operated with a single button press (hands-free above EX-L level). For the most affluent buyers, a panoramic roof is standard equipment. Depending on the model, wheel diameters range from 18 to 20 inches.
Adding insult to injury, the 2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid paint color options are just as dismal. Although the Pilot Hybrid was never supposed to be a fashionista, Honda should have studied its paint options when considering the fascinating designs coming out of South Korea and elsewhere. Fortunately, as you move up the hue spectrum, you’ll find various options. Six colors are available in the Pilot Hybrid’s base trim: Crystal Black, Modern Steel; Lunar Silver; and Obsidian Blue. These two unique $395 colors are Platinum White Pearl and Steel Sapphire Metallic. Deep Scarlet joins the EX-roster L’s of exclusive colors in the Touring and Elite. All six colors of the Special Edition are available in Crystal Black or Platinum White, but the Black Edition is only available in Crystal Black or Platinum White.

Interior
Family-friendly features, like an in-cabin PA system, are available for the Pilot Hybrid’s interior. For individuals who need to seat eight people, the second row of most models has three seats across. Two captain’s chairs replace the bench in the more expensive models, lowering the capacity to seven people. It is, however, only suitable for children because of the third row’s low seat cushion. There are 16 cupholders throughout the Pilot Hybrid’s cabin, and the climate controls and instrument clusters are neatly labeled.
Large windows and thin, unnoticeable roof pillars make this SUV one of the most visible in its class, thanks to its lofty seating position and a great perspective of the road. The Honda’s cargo capacity is enormous, and many cubbies come in handy throughout the cabin. The seven-and eight-seat versions have varying cargo capacities since the second-row center console in the Elite, and seven-seat Touring models cannot be removed. Moving the slats on the cargo floor can make a hidden storage space under the bed.

Engine
Underneath the hood of every Honda car is a potent powerplant that provides the most leverage. The power numbers have increased dramatically due to constant refinement and a new design approach. The 3.5-liter naturally-aspirated V6 engine and the now-standard ZF 9-speed automatic transmission are now standard on the 2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid. The SUV’s strong performance, which includes 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, has left a lasting impact. The SUV’s 0-60 mph sprint time might be improved by a few tenths of a second if it had a longer, lower stance and a lighter body.
The 2024 Honda Pilot Hybrid is the fastest in its class, sprinting from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds and covering the quarter-mile in 14.8 seconds. The Subaru Ascent and the Toyota Highlander, two rivals, both reach 60 mph in 6.9 seconds. For an SUV in this class, the Pilot Hybrid handles well and provides a comfortable ride for its passengers.
