2024 Honda Insight Hybrid Colors, Models, Cost – The Insight is derived from the Civic. But that is what it looks like on the surface. There are no modifications to the 2024 model year for the Honda Insight Hybrid. Furthermore, it is priced competitively, yet some customers may find it too expensive because it lacks several amenities seen on other compact cars.
Insight competes with the 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid and the 2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid in features and functionality. All 2024 Honda Insight Hybrid models have seen a price increase of about $2,000. The LX trim level has been eliminated, leaving just the higher-end Sport and the basic SE. The Honda Insight is an excellent vehicle for daily use since it combines the best of both worlds without sacrificing fun.

2024 Honda Insight Hybrid Redesign
The Honda Insight is positioned between the Civic and the Accord. It shares several design cues with its relatives but has unique grille and taillight configurations. Even though it’s a hybrid, it doesn’t seem as out of place as some of its rivals. The four-door sedan is furnished with automated LED head and taillights, and it rides on either 16-inch or 17-inch alloys (the EX rides on 16-inch wheels and the Touring on 17-inch wheels). A power sunroof and exterior chrome accents are features exclusive to the Touring trim level.
The Insight may be painted in one of six different colors. All six available colors are available for both models without an additional charge, including Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Modern Steel Metallic. Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, and Cosmic Blue Metallic are available for an additional $395. Even while the Insight shares the same 106.3-inch wheelbase as the outgoing model of the Civic, its overall length of 183.6 inches makes it spacious enough for five adults. This sedan is the same height as any other at 55.8 inches, but its narrow width of 71.6 inches makes it easy to park in tight spaces. In terms of curb weight, the EX comes in at exactly 3,000 pounds, while the Touring tops out at 3,078 pounds.

Interior
The 2024 Honda Insight Hybrid’s cabin is a little like the automobile equivalent of a mansion. Space is not an issue, and the dashboard has many cubby holes. There is a focus on practicality and efficiency in the inside design. They’re decent drivers despite being somewhat inconvenient. The buttons and knobs can be reached with little effort and are built to last. Both the Accord and the Civic have interiors that share specific visual cues. The intelligent design of the space’s layout is the most excellent feature. The interior’s quality, fit, and finish are all top-notch. The only problem is the constant roar of the engine at highway speeds.
Five people may ride in comfort in the 2024 Honda Insight Hybrid. There is no need to fear getting in or out of this building since all the doors are spacious and swing open fully. The inside area is used to significant effect by the seats. The front seats provide a lot of space for both legs and shoulders. Quite a few alterations may be made. The Insight’s interior is shallow, but the car’s excellent visibility makes up for this. The front seats offer adequate levels of comfort and support. Even those in the back will find plenty of room to stretch out. Tall passengers won’t feel cramped, thanks to a generous 37 inches of legroom in the back. The thin seat bottoms are the only drawback in the back, making long trips uncomfortable for taller passengers.

Engine
The new 2024 Honda Insight is powered by a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine that generates 107 horsepower and 99 pound-feet of torque. This vehicle has a total of 151 horsepower from its two generators. Electric motors provide the bulk of the power, producing 129 horsepower and 197 pound-feet on their own. The more robust motors do the size of the work, with the gasoline engine supplying power for the electric ones.
In this case, a continuously variable gearbox (CVT) controls the power and sends it only to the front wheels. Insight may not have the fastest acceleration among hybrids, but it still holds its own against the competition. You can quickly drive around other vehicles on the highway, and passing them is easy, albeit the gas engine can growl. A spirited hybrid is still nothing to sneeze at, and this is just one way in which the Honda Insight distinguishes itself.
2024 Honda Insight Hybrid Release Date and Price
Even with the elimination of last year’s LX entry model, the 2024 Honda Insight is still a competitively priced sedan. Starting at $25,210, the EX is available for purchase, with the Touring adding $4,030 to the price at $29,240. The $1,015 handling charge added by the manufacturer is not included in these costs; it is $60 more than it was in 2017. Neither are taxes, registration or licensing. The 2024 Insight Hybrid is scheduled to debut in the summer of that year in the United States.
