2024 Honda Insight Colors, Changes, Interior – The Honda Civic is the basis for the Honda Insight. However, that is mostly what it appears to be about from the outside. The 2024 Honda Insight Hybrid is unchanged in the 2024 model year lineup. And, just like every other tiny car, it gives you the majority of the same features at an aggressive price, which some may seem to be a bit excessive.
The 2024 Honda Insight Hybrid lineup receives a price increase of approximately $2,000. The automobile is now only available in two trim levels, as the LX trim level has been eliminated. The Honda Insight is a sensible everyday driver, providing the best of both worlds while not preventing you from having fun. In terms of performance, Insight competes with the 2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid and the 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid.

The 2024 Honda Insight Update
The Honda Insight, positioned between the Civic and the Accord, displays a striking family resemblance but has a unique grille and taillight styling. Even though it is a hybrid, it does not appear as uncomfortable as some competitors. The EX rides on 16-inch alloy wheels, while the Touring rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. The four-door sedan is equipped with automated LED headlights and taillights. A power sunroof and exterior chrome accents are features exclusive to the Touring trim.
There are a total of six paint colors available for Insight. Both variants have access to all six color options, with Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Modern Steel Metallic included at no additional cost. You can select from Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, and Cosmic Blue Metallic for an additional $395. Even though it shares the same 106.3-inch wheelbase as the smaller previous-generation Civic, the Insight’s overall length of 183.6 inches is sufficient to accommodate all occupants comfortably. It is no taller than any other sedan, measuring 55.6 inches in height, but its narrow 71.6-inch width makes it easy to maneuver into tight spaces. The EX weighs precisely 3,000 pounds, whereas the Touring’s maximum weight is 3,078 pounds.

Interior
The 2024 Honda Insight Hybrid cabin is the penthouse of tiny vehicles. The center console offers many storage possibilities and is spacious and airy. The interior is well-designed and prioritizes functionality and practicability. They are rather driver-inclusive. The controls are solid and easily accessible. There are similarities between the interiors of the Accord and the Civic. The most pleasing aspect of this interior is how beautifully everything is organized. Additionally, its interior’s fit, polish, and quality are superior. The only drawback is the engine noise that becomes noticeable at high speeds.
The 2024 Honda Insight Hybrid is a vehicle with five seats. Large, wide-opening doors make access to and egress from this space effortless. The interior space benefits the seats. There is ample legroom and shoulder room up front. There is a great deal of adjustability. The Insight has a low internal seating position, which does not hinder visibility. The front chairs offer decent comfort and support. The rear seats are pretty significant. Even though the rear legroom is only 37 inches, the tallest passengers will be comfortable. The only issue with the rear seats is the lack of under-thigh support due to the thin seat bottoms, which makes long drives rather uncomfortable.

Engine
Under the hood of 2024, Honda Insight is a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine that generates 107 horsepower and 99 pound-feet of torque. Most of the power is caused by the pair of electric motors, which generate 129 hp and 197 lb-ft on their own. The more robust motors do most of the heavy work, while the gasoline engine provides an electric charge. Together, these two generators offer the vehicle a total of 151 horsepower.
A continuously variable gearbox regulates the power and distributes it to the front wheels only. Despite Insight’s lackluster acceleration, it outperforms comparable hybrid vehicles. Also, passing on the highway requires little effort, but the gas engine can become somewhat noisy. Still, a lively hybrid is nothing to scoff at, which is just one reason the Honda Insight stands apart from the competition.

These prices don’t include tax, registration, and licensing, nor do they have the $1,015 handling fee that the manufacturer charges. This fee went up by $60 from the year before.
